10 Wrestlers Who Refused To Work House Shows

1. Sting

It's been awhile since Sting worked a full-time schedule, but it shows in positive ways. The man is 56-years-old, and with few career-threatening injuries, he is able to move around like a younger man. As is the case with the Undertaker, he's saving himself for the 'big ones'. Rumour had it that on his last TNA contract, he was required to wrestle only two house shows, and he worked exactly two house shows €” both in Tennessee €” before heading to the WWE. Considering one of them was at a middle school gymnasium, it's no wonder the guy wanted to sign with the competition. Sting has only wrestled one WWE match on PPV since signing, and it's unlikely that beyond the occasional promo, he's going to increase his schedule much further. Maybe he has one or two more matches at WrestleMania or SummerSlam left in him, and then then it'll be time for The Icon to hang up his boots for good.
