10 Wrestlers Who Saved World Championships

5. Becky Lynch - Raw Women's Championship

While the Raw Women's Championship has never had a significant downturn, 2018 was a weak year for the title, with the reigns of Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax not receiving acclaim and Ronda Rousey's run with the belt being divisive amongst fans. Thankfully, the coronation of Becky Lynch was on the horizon and her Winner Takes All victory at WrestleMania 35 led to her year long reign with the Raw women's title, making the belt feel important.

While the reign was far from perfect - months of feuding with Lacey Evans and not dropping the title to Shayna Baszler stand out as notable disappointments - it's hard to argue that Lynch didn't feel like the biggest star in the company while holding the red brand's championship. She had excellent feuds with Sasha Banks and Asuka, delivered on the microphone and looked to be transitioning into a new character before vacating her championship due to pregnancy.

We have no idea if Becky will return to the ring after parenthood but if this is her legacy, it's a fine one to have especially since her best rivals as champion, Sasha Banks and Asuka, have carried on the title's lineage beautifully since her departure.
