10 Wrestlers Who Will Never Work For WWE Again (And Why)
3. Mistico
When it comes to things WWE would like fans to forget about any decisions Triple H has made as part of the management team, the original Sin Cara is pretty high up on the list. Signed amidst much fanfare in 2011, the aerial artist formerly known as Mistico was hyped up beyond belief. It was easy to believe that WWE had signed a true successor to Rey Mysterio, who was riddled with injury and thus not wrestling as much as he had previously. The current incarnation of Sin Cara may be tearing it up as part of The Lucha Dragons, but the original was a true failure. From the off, Mistico looked an odd fit for the WWE system, and failed to wow fans during his matches. Even when posted against men like Chavo Guerrero who could work his Lucha Libre style, Mistico looked disjointed, and his star faded quickly. By 2014, Mistico was gone from WWE. The Sin Cara character still remained, being played at this point by the wrestler formerly known as Hunico. The original Sin Cara, Mistico, was such an aberration in WWE that there surely can't be any chance of him making a return. Speaking out about his run, Mistico has claimed WWE didn't do enough to help him settle in, putting the blame firmly at the feet of the promotion.
