Speaking of Owens, he never did get his one-on-one rematch for the Intercontinental Championship did he? Owens was the reigning champion going into WrestleMania 32 and the odds were severely stacked against him, as six men (well five men and Sin Cara) joined KO in trying to climb a ladder to reach the Intercontinental Championship.

Zack Ryder was the succcessful man on that night, but Long Island Iced Z lost the title the next night to current champion The Miz. The title continued to be defended in multi-man bouts, with Miz coming out on top against Owens, Sami Zayn and Cesaro.

As far as I remember, Kevin Owens never did get his one-on-one rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. Now, this isn't the only time in WWE history that this has happened and I'm sure the current WWE Universal Champion doesn't care a jot, but you can never have enough gold right?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
