10 Wrestling Facts We Didn’t Know Last Week (May 31)

Pro wrestling is no laughing matter for AEW's latest signing...

Bret Hart AEW Title
AEW

When WWE revealed their hideously ugly 24/7 Title, AEW officials must've breathed a sigh of relief. Any potential for online backlash towards their own new championship belt was mooted by WWE's ugly biscuit tin creation. Poor Mick Foley also had to look on as fellow legend Bret Hart proudly showed off the new title at Double Or Nothing.

Bret takes centre stage as one of this week's facts, and he's here to talk the last time he was in the public eye before AEW. That's right, it was the WWE Hall Of Fame and that idiotic run-in that spoiled Hart's night. Or, did it? His comments on that fateful night in Brooklyn may surprise you.

Other stories on tap include who told Val Venis she was into sado-masochism, what little lie Dusty Rhodes told a northeastern promoter to bag his very first paid gig in pro wrestling, which WWE Diva Search winner felt woefully inadequate next to everyone else she was competing against and more.

There's a healthy helping of Jon Moxley too. His laughing days are very much over...
