8. Steve Austin Thought John Cena's SummerSlam Stunner Sucked

https://twitter.com/steveaustinBSR/status/635621016492838912 SummerSlam isn't the first time that John Cena has used a springboard version of the 'Stone Cold Stunner'. At the Pay-Per-View, Cena's timing with Seth Rollins was slightly off, and the move looked a little awkward as a result. Fans picked up on the sloppiness, jeering the shaky execution of one of wrestling's most famous moves. It seems those fans in New York weren't the only ones turning up their noses. Previously, Steve Austin has been a mixture of diplomatic and passive when asked about Cena using the Stunner in matches. Putting over the franchise player in WWE, Austin said Cena was entitled to use the move. This contrasted earlier comments on his podcast that seemed to suggest he was far from flattered by John's decision to use the Stunner as a near fall spot rather than a meaningful finish. Post-SummerSlam, Austin said on social media that he felt the move had "zero effect" during the match between Cena and Rollins. It's likely that the former multi-time World Champion didn't enjoy the bungled nature of the move. Further to this, Austin bantered back and forth with fans who laid into Cena, and said he thinks he's a good worker.
