9. The Dudley Boyz Requested To Work With The Wyatt Family

The Dudley Boyz have been earning rave reviews since returning to the WWE fold this past Summer. Upon their comeback, Bubba Ray and D-Von worked extensively with The New Day, putting them over on numerous occasions and failing to win the WWE Tag-Team Titles. When that program had run its course, many were wondering what was next for the legendary tandem. It seems that The Dudleyz themselves had a plan, but it was all about timing. Whilst promoting various WWE events, D-Von spoke with The Philly Voice about things the team have pitched to company management since returning. It turns out a recent rivalry with The Wyatt Family isn't an accident, it was something the surefire Hall Of Fame team wanted all along. During the interview, D-Von spoke highly of The New Day and The Wyatts, calling them the future of tag-team wrestling in WWE. Both he and Bubba Ray wanted to work with them as soon as they arrived, because they see their role as helping pave the way for younger teams. The Wyatts were inveigled in feuds against Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, as well as the Brothers Of Destruction before, meaning The Dudleyz had to wait.
