It's a little known fact that WWE referee Charles Robinson suffers from Plantar Fasciitis. The disorder affects the heel of each foot, often causing shooting pains to develop for the first few steps of the day. During the midst of a heated WWE Title match at the recent Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Robinson suffered an attack.

This was revealed during an exclusive interview on WWE's official website. Just 7 minutes into the bout, the unfortunate Robinson actually tore tendons in his foot and was in substantial pain for the remainder of the marquee match. Still, there was no way to get help. The official had to soldier on.

By trying to ignore the pain, the referee almost made things worse. Looking at things in comedic fashion, the light-hearted Robinson said that he was tempted to throw up an 'X' for himself and seek help from backstage. Of course, that 'X' is something referees do with their arms when an unplanned injury has occurred in the ring.

Watching the match over again doesn't reveal when Robinson hurt himself. He did an expert job of hiding the pain.
