1. Roman Reigns Was Initially Money In The Bank Winner
Admittedly, there were eyebrows raised when Sheamus stood tall at the top of the ladder, clutching the golden Money In The Bank briefcase and winning the right to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at any time over the next year. It seemed that someone like Roman Reigns was a dead cert to emerge victorious, and that's possibly because that was the original plan. Fascinatingly, WWE wanted Sheamus to win the Money In The Bank last year, but went with Seth Rollins instead. In 2015, it was the big Irishman's turn to replace a scheduled victor, at the expense of Reigns. Only turning heel upon his return earlier this year, the pale-skinned 'Celtic Warrior' has been plagued with chants about his appearance from crowds, but he is getting reactions. A solid worker, WWE are the ones who previously dropped the ball with his top push in 2011, giving him a goofy 'King' gimmick which derailed his momentum. It looks like it's time to right those wrongs from yesteryear. What other big news stories and facts from this past week have caught your eye? Did you know about any of the ones listed here?
