When talk started to surface online about a new DVD set dedicated to the life and career of Owen Hart, many fans speculated that WWE had finally made peace with Owen's widow, Martha. Ever since the tragic events of the Over The Edge Pay-Per-View in May, 1999, during which Owen horrendously fell to his death from the rafters, Martha has decried the promotion as one she wants nothing to do with. Even without her support, it seems plans have still been charging ahead with the DVD. Bret Hart and other members of the Hart family are all set to record interview footage for the project, according to Bret himself. That represents a significant leap forward for the hopes of fans that Owen could be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame someday, in what would surely be the most emotional induction ever. Speaking on the subject of Martha's frostiness towards WWE, Bret says that she should refrain from getting in the way of honouring Owen's wrestling legacy, because it isn't hers to own. Those are strong words from the 'Hitman', but if he has already agreed to put some words to tape, it seems like it's only a matter of time before this documentary and DVD set is released. Tentative release dates suggest November as the month when 'Owen Hart: Hart Of Gold' is on shelves. What other big news stories and facts from this past week caught your eye?
