10. Michael Hayes Would Fret Every Year About WWE Hall Of Fame

The night before WrestleMania 32, WWE will present their annual Hall Of Fame ceremony in Texas. Amongst those announced for induction this year are The Fabulous Freebirds. Members of the famous faction included the likes of Michael 'P.S' Hayes, Buddy Roberts, Terry Gordy and Jimmy Garvin. For many in the industry, their induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame has been a long time coming, with stars like Steve Austin and Jim Ross remarking on their respective podcasts that the stable is fully deserving of the honour. During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Hayes himself told of his relief that it was finally happening after many years of fans talking about it. Incredibly, Hayes also revealed that he usually gets quite nervous around WrestleMania season, because he wondered when the Freebirds would be inducted. The man is still part of the WWE system, so it's interesting to learn that he has been kept on edge by the Hall Of Fame, never knowing when the call will come. April 2nd is clearly going to be a big night for the former Dok Hendrix.
