6. Kevin Owens Has Always Thought WWE Brand Extension Is A Good Idea

There's a lot of talk right now regarding the possible return of a brand split between Monday Night Raw and Thursday Night Smackdown. Some fans believe it would reinvigorate the product, giving more talent the chance to shine and generally making things more exciting. It seems that Kevin Owens is one of those people who thinks it's an extremely good idea. WWE are scheduled to go on a European tour almost immediately following WrestleMania. The annual jaunt will take them to the UK, but also to countries like Spain. During a press interview with Mundo Deportivo and Planeta Wrestling to promote those Spanish dates, Owens opened and discussed the 'Brand Extension', revealing his thoughts on why he felt it was a good idea in 2016. It's somewhat intriguing that WWE talent are willing to discuss such a move, because it hints that it may be about to happen. Is KO simply giving an opinion, or is he foreshadowing what it to come post-WrestleMania? In his own words, Owens said the brand divide would 'shake things up' in WWE across the board and that it has always been a viable option.
