9. Randy Orton Isn't Interested In Trading WWE For Hollywood
Recently, Randy Orton has been put on the injury list due to a serious shoulder injury. The problem is rumoured to be so serious that the star will miss between 4-6 months of action as a result. During his most recent absences from WWE television, Orton has been filming 'The Condemned 2: Desert Prey'. The first film starred 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, the man Randy replaces in the sequel. This is Orton's third major acting gig with WWE. In 2011, he played the role of Ed Freel in the comedy, 'That's What I Am'. Then, in 2013, he played Nick Malloy in '12 Rounds 2: Reloaded'. The first 12 Rounds had starred John Cena, and a third is in the works featuring Dean Ambrose. Despite the fact he has been praised by fellow cast members on The Condemned 2, Orton claims he has no desire to leave the wrestling business. In the man's own words, success like that experienced by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson or Batista is not guaranteed. Citing Kurt Angle's short, uncredited appearance in Vin Diesel's 'The Last Witch Hunter' as proof that acting is tough for wrestlers to break into, Orton says he's much better off simply sticking to what he knows best. Basically, Randy Orton isn't going to try and break into Hollywood any time soon.
