10 Wrestling Matches That Were Sent Out To Die

4. The Undertaker Vs. The "Undertaker" (WWF SummerSlam 1994)

If you enjoy a good nightmare, then try this one on for size: SummerSlam 1994's main event was supposed to be longer than the painful nine minutes it lasted. Oh yes, it turns out that The Undertaker was furious with Bret and Owen Hart for extending their brother vs. brother cage war in the sub-main slot.

They did him a favour by going 32 minutes.

The Undertaker vs. The 'Underfaker' was dull enough nine minutes in, and it would've been more torturous had it lasted anywhere between 15-20. Whomever decided (Vince McMahon, basically) to send that one out last on a show boasting Bret vs. Owen needed a swift kick in the grapefruits. What an awful, awful choice to close out the biggest show of the summer.

Most fans had soured on the idea of a doppelgänger showdown before it happened, and their apathy wasn't soothed by arguably the slowest WWF main event in history. This is another that should've gone on earlier or been pre-taped behind closed doors.
