Wrestling is a lot of things to a lot of people, but to all people, there must be a sense of fun at the heart of it. This is entertainment, after all, a form of physical theatre that was born out of drawing large crowds. You aren't going to get a large crowd without entertainment.

Modern-day WWE doesn't get much more fun than the WeeLC match between El Torito and Hornswoggle at Extreme Rules back in 2014. Giving WWE the credit might be a bit of a stretch, as the quality of the match rests entirely on the shoulders of the many men involved. Hornswoggle and El Torito showed that they were much more than props for physical comedy, while Los Matadores and the members of 3MB really shone through.

Wrestling is supposed to be fun, and this is just about as fun as it gets, retaining the violence and physical brutality that makes pro wrestling such an enchanting spectacle. The 11 minutes still hold up perfectly today, making this one WWE match that well and truly overachieved. The best TLC match in recent memory? That is another discussion for another time, but this writer knows where his flag is planted.
