4. A Huge Undertaking

Despite being hyped before and during the Royal Rumble, The Undertaker’s presence has not been felt at all since he was unceremoniously dunked out of that match by Roman Reigns. While everyone assumed such an act of anti-Texan defiance would lead to a Reigns heel turn, such a thing has yet to materialise, as Roman has gone on to topple RAW’s resident monster Braun Strowman. While this seemed like a waste of Strowman’s immense potential, it could all be in service of pitting Reigns against Taker. After all, if Roman couldn’t beat Braun, how are we to believe he could best the Deadman?

Assuming that his feud with Strowman is now done, Roman needs a match at Mania, and there’d be no better opponent than The Undertaker. Roman serves as a much more credible threat to Taker’s WrestleMania dominance than Shane McMahon ever did, and it’s a bout that possesses plenty of intrigue.

The Undertaker needs to make his presence known soon, if this is to ever come to a head. Perhaps Roman, fresh off one of his most impressive victories yet, declares his desire to win the Universal Championship, claiming that “No one, not even Goldberg, can step in my yard.”

The lights go out. The bell tolls for Roman Reigns. The lights come back up, and Taker kneels over Reigns’s incapacitated body (maybe he says something about a grave-yard, depending on how punny he’s feeling that day). He’s certainly got motivation, and it’d give both men something to do on a card where they currently have no purpose.
