10 WWE Divas Who Benefited From Dating A Wrestler

4. Chyna

Chyna's story in professional wrestling is well-known. Brought in on Triple H's recommendation to be his bodyguard whilst still using his blue-blood gimmick, Chyna migrated into D-Generation X with Hunter when his friendship with Shawn Michaels led to them matching the rebellious image of Kliq buddies Nash and Hall in the nWo with WWE's version of an edgy faction, synonymous with the Attitude Era. As such, Chyna became a cornerstone of one of wrestling's all-time greatest factions. Her fame in WWE brought her world-wide notoriety and even a Playboy cover spread in the year 2000, shortly before her backstage heat, desire for more money and problems with Stephanie McMahon, whose relationship with Triple H had begun whilst he and Chyna were still officially a couple, saw her released from the company in 2001. She has yet to appear on a WWE screen since and likely never will again, due to her reported drug abuse and venture into pornography. It's an example of the fickle nature of fame and how it can be granted and taken away with the swiftest of decisions from a vested party. At least Chyna can say she left her mark on WWE history during her 4-year stint with the company.

Betting on being a brilliant brother to Bodhi since 2008 (-1 Asian Handicap). Find me @LiamJJohnson on Twitter where you might find some wonderful pearls of wisdom in a stout cocktail of profanity, football discussion and general musings. Or you might not. Depends how red my eyes are.
