10 WWE Gimmick Matches That Totally Sucked

1. Kennel From Hell

The Kennel from Hell is notorious for its sucktitude, and rightfully so. Not only is it incredibly contrived, with one steel cage being surrounded by Hell in a Cell. In between them? Ravenous rottweilers chomping at the bit to avenge the death of Pepper, Al Snow's cherished chihuahua killed by the villainous Big Boss Man.

Or, at least that was supposed to be the case. Instead, the dogs were subdued, not dangerous in the slightest.

Add to that a painstakingly long match that failed to capture the imagination of the audience and you have a recipe for disaster.

Not only did the gimmick not go according to plan, it featured a feud that had long overstayed its welcome and was nowhere near high enough on the card to justify that energy put into promoting it. Such a monumental waste and gigantic failure was it that the match was openly mocked during the early weeks and months of the WWE Network.
