Those are the types of things everyone can expect any self-respecting wrestling announcer to say when someone turns heel. Often, those commentators are tasked with being the voice of the viewer and leading fans down a certain path towards a feud's end goal. Someone ambushed another worker from behind to put a bullet through a friendship, so they must be the bad guy...right?
You'll typically hear people claim that the lines governing heels and babyfaces have been blurred since the mid-1990s. Fair enough, but there were always shades of grey if one looked hard enough. For example, one of the most iconic goodies in WWE history had a sketchy reputation for being manipulative and selfish as far back as the 80s. He pushed so-called villains to the brink with his actions.
The best heel turns come when seemingly wicked behaviour is totally justifiable. This collection of "baddies" who were completely in the right stretches across five separate decades.

10. Randy Savage (1989)
Hulk Hogan was that "iconic goodie" who was referenced in the intro. His actions were always questionable, and the WWF's top babyface just wasn't above cheating. He'd rake eyes, use steel chairs, attack from behind, browbeat opponents verbally before they'd ever really done anything and more.
Randy Savage saw through it.
The pair's run together as the Mega-Powers is still talked about today, and for good reason. Both clicked as a unit, but Vince McMahon knew he could split them when the time was right and book Savage as a jealous heel. Yeah, a jealous heel who was actually correct to be so! He realised that Hogan's intentions towards Miss. Elizabeth might not have been totally pure.
Hulk was spending a lot more time sucking up to Liz than he was being a good tag-team partner for the ‘Macho Man’. He stole Randy's thunder at WrestleMania IV, hogged the spotlight and even put a hand on Elizabeth's butt during celebrations. Savage eventually snapped, but his jealousy wasn’t unfounded.
