10 WWE Legends Who Should Get The "Last Ride" Treatment Next
3. Mick Foley
Everybody loves Mick Foley. He’s that truly rare creature, someone who has made wrestling their life’s work, but has emerged from the rubble not the least bit sour about the industry. Foley is a true wrestling fan with an astonishing career encompassing some of the business’ most iconic moments.
He has truly been everywhere - ECW, WCW, even a stint in TNA. Fans of Dark Side Of The Ring will have seen him reminisce about Herb Abrams’ chaotic UWF promotion. What’s more, he’s one of the true raconteurs of wrestling, able to tell a story with wit, charm, and lucidity few others can match (which is surprising for anyone who’s seen his I Quit match with The Rock).
Foley has been out of the ring for a while now and seems comfortably retired with a solid career as a writer and public speaker, but he remains linked with WWE, and has exactly the kind of glittering career that they would do well to celebrate. He also has a decent amount of crossover appeal for casual or even non-wrestling fans - put simply, everyone loves the guy.
