10 WWE Match Finishes Which Need To Die

9. Disqualified For Wrestling Too Much

This one is hard to figure out. Whenever the WWE decides they just don't want a match to have a definitive finish (usually because the two Superstars in the ring are set to meet at an upcoming PPV or they feel the need to protect them both from a loss), someone will get disqualified for...wrestling too much? This usually comes when someone is being stomped in the corner, but can also happen just from punching another Superstar too much. Now, there are obviously rules - specifically a five count - about when someone is being kicked or punched in the corner, but this type of finish ends up leaving a bad taste in the mouth and is entirely underwhelming 99.9% of the time. To put it bluntly, it just sucks to see a wrestler disqualified for basically doing their job, and it's a weak way to end a match. Oddly, this is a finish which has most recently become a problem in tag team matches, with disqualifications resulting from too many men being in the ring at the same time. Of course, on other occasions (usually when a final pinfall being set up), that's not an issue, and such a level of inconsistency just makes this stick out like a very sore and frustrating thumb.
