10 WWE Match Finishes Which Need To Die

8. Guest Commentary Distraction

Depending on who it is joining the consistently awful commentary team on Raw, a surprise appearance from a WWE Superstar may end up being one of the best parts of the show. What follows usually isn't. Rather than just having a wrestler's rival out there to hype up an upcoming match, things usually end with whoever is in the ring being easily distracted. Apparently, most WWE Superstars just aren't able to function when someone they have a beef with is sitting on a chair nearby, and they'll be distracted throughout the match until losing in ridiculous fashion because they can't take their eyes off the guest commenter deciding to climb upon the announce table to do...something (usually just to pose or shout). This doesn't happen as often as some of the other finishes listed here, but enough that it's become predictable. Even if the distraction doesn't cause the Superstar in the ring to lose, it's a safe bet that they'll end up coming to blows at some point, and that robs the match of any drama or excitement which would otherwise come from them being at that table.
