7. Will WWE Cancel NXT? If So Is This The Right Course Of Action?

Basically, I think NXT is f****d. It really is.
With the brand extension coming in, and the need for more stars to fill main roster spots, the likes of Balor, Nakamura, Joe and Bayley are heading for pastures new. They need to. The main roster as it is now doesn't have enough bodies to cater for two unique rosters in my opinion.
I've held the belief that the powers that be at NXT know they're struggling for some time now. Why else would they have had two Balor vs. Joe main events of consecutive pay per views, with a third to come? There's no one else worthy of being elevated to the main event scene... Elias Samson has been working main events against Nakamura at house shows for goodness sake. That's how bad things have become.
Do I think NXT with cease to exist? No. The main roster needs that proving ground to sort the wheat from the chaff, even if testing something in developmental can't prepare certain gimmicks for the brutality of the casual audience. I just think they're going to have to start from scratch when the draft claims all of their top stars.
Let's hope the NXT Universe are an accepting bunch...
