10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (June 3)
8. Do You Think John Cena Is Going To Bury The Club Separately Or All At Once?
I can't repeat the name of the handle that sent this in because it includes a swear word and I love 'd' kidz like y'boys in The New Day.
This question struck a chord with me though - the claims from certain sections of the audience that AJ Styles has been buried since joining WWE.
BULLS*IT!
Following that incredible debut at the Royal Rumble and a tepid feud with Chris Jericho that produced some solid matches, The Phenomenal One was shunted straight into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture. He bypassed certain stars like Kevin Owens and Cesaro that have done more time on the main roster, and arguably deserved it more than someone who had but a handful of WWE matches to his name at the time.
Not only that, but WWE allowed AJ to push their golden child Roman Reigns to his very limits. Styles got all of his proverbial sh*t in and looked as strong as strong can be without picking up a win.
Yes he's lost all of his big matches, but it's not all about the winning and the losing, sometimes; it's about the journey. Look at AJ now... he's got his club behind him and seems to have been picked to work with John Cena after a five month hiatus... that's not exactly being buried now, is it?
Styles is dancing with the stars...
We saw around this time last year that Cena will 'do the job' when the time is right. Remember how KO waltzed into WWE and pinned the leader of the Cenation clean in his debut match?
I think that with the wildcard that Gallows and Anderson provide, Styles will finally get that big win against Cena at Money In The Bank - if they have a match of course.
