10 WWE Rematches Absolutely Nobody Wanted To See
4. Triple H Vs. Kevin Nash
In 2003, Triple H was in the midst of a terminal run with the World Heavyweight Championship, having dominated Monday Night Raw for much of the show's post-brand extension lifespan.
He'd carefully outmaneuvered virtually every major threat to his title, shunting Kane, Rob Van Dam, and Booker T out of contention via a host of demeaning defeats, but he was far kinder to his best friends Shawn Michaels (more on that later) and Kevin Nash.
'Big Daddy Cool' returned to Monday Night Raw in April 2003 after nine months on the shelf, and immediately inserted himself into the main event picture after running off Triple H and Chris Jericho following their assault on Shawn Michaels.
Nash attempted to maintain a friendship with the feuding Michaels and Hunter, but a Triple H low-blow positioned 'Big Sexy' as his newest contender in time for May's horrific Judgment Day pay-per-view.
After that tedious match went to a non-finish, the two fought yet again at the UK-only extravaganza Insurrextion in a match carried by Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels on the arena floor, such were the limitations of the pair in the contest itself.
That in turn led to an interminable 20 minute Hell In A Cell match designed around guest referee Mick Foley absorbing the sickest shots to make up for the rampant inability of both champion and challenger.
