10 WWE Stars Who Are In Desperate Need Of A Charecter Makeover

4. Apollo Crews

Apollo Crews has an impressive move set and an uplifting smile, but WWE hasn’t really given him much to work with from a character development standpoint. He seems like a nice enough guy - but what do we really know about him?

Honestly, Crews probably would have benefited from spending a little more time in NXT to work on his mic skills and develop a bit more of a persona. Instead, he is paired with Titus O'Neil in an attempt to benefit from being a part of The Titus Brand (good luck with that).

Assuming this storyline ultimately results in a feud between Crews and O'Neil, you have to wonder what Crews stand to gain from it. Let’s be honest: O’Neil is being a used as borderline enhancement talent at this point in his career, so beating him really doesn’t mean much. Nothing, to be blunt. Moreover, it won’t help transform Crews into a character that captures the imagination.

Apollo Crews is a talented wrestler, but WWE hasn’t given fans any reason to invest in him.

WWE creative needs to come up with a clever gimmick for this poor fellow.
