10 WWE Stars Who Will Have A Strong Second Half To 2017

5. Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman has been one of the biggest (both literally and figuratively) success stories of WWE's second Brand Split, going from an unknown in The Wyatt Family to a legitimate threat to Brock Lesnar and the Universal Championship.

Say what you will about WWE's inability to create stars in recent years, but Strowman is a fresh face in the main event scene who can very much hold his own in the ring. In fact, his latest string of matches with Roman Reigns at Fastlane, Payback, and Great Balls of Fire has been phenomenal. Crowds come to life whenever he enters an arena and proceeds to wreak havoc on the entire Raw roster (and any potential security guards who stand in his way).

He has yet to hold gold since joining the main roster in August 2015, but with how hot he's been throughout 2017, he is a shoe-in to capture a championship at some point in the next six months. It could be as early as SummerSlam when he vies for the prestigious prize in a highly anticipated Fatal 4-Way matchup.

Either way, members of Team Red have been warned.
