So the news is out, and SmackDown is moving to Tuesday nights. Not only this, but the show will be aired live, in a move that should have happened years ago. It gets better too, as the brand split is going to return to WWE. For the first time in years RAW and SmackDown have the chance to become two distinct entities, as opposed to RAW and Did You See Raw-Down.

The blue brand is generally considered the 'B' show, although its early years suggested something completely different. The first episode of SmackDown aired in April 1999, and the show went from strength to strength in 2002/03 with Paul Heyman at the helm. This wouldn't last, however, and in the final few years of the original brand split SmackDown was akin to the unwell younger cousin of RAW.

Despite this, certain names have become synonymous with SmackDown over the course of its 874 episodes. The so-called SmackDown Six of the Heyman era made it the best show in professional wrestling, but there are also men outside of that sphere that are immediately tied to the blue brand.

But the question remains; just who has had the most matches on WWE SmackDown?

Wonder no longer, as I'm here to let you know! Here are the 10 wrestlers with the most matches on SmackDown in the show's history.

10. The Undertaker - 192 Matches

The Undertaker is arguably the biggest name that is the most closely associated with SmackDown. The lack of live TV may have been responsible for some of that, but the Deadman was a staple on the blue show from the beginning, preceding the original draft itself.

Undertaker has wrestled a grand total of 192 matches on SmackDown over the years, and even took part in the main event of the very first broascast. In that bout he teamed up with none other than Triple H in a massive tag team match against 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin and The Rock. How's that for star power?

'Taker's appearances on SmackDown have become rarer and rarer over the years, with his last blue brand match coming against Dean Ambrose way back in April 2013, immediately following WrestleMania. Despite the likelihood of The Phenom making further appearances on SmackDown not being in the best of shapes, it is unlikely he'll be overtaken in this list any time soon.

Randy Orton is next in line with 177 matches, and Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus sit way back on 155 and 147 matches respectively.
