10 WWE Stars Who Were Worthless Intercontinental Champions

6. Test

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgDVpoQDjIc Ah, Test. A big man with big dreams that never came to fruition. In fact his only memorable moments in WWE history were his tag team with Albert called T&A, and when he almost married Stephanie McMahon before Triple H crashed the ceremony. Other than that, there€™s not much else to say about Test. He certainly knew how to capture gold in WWE, but as everyone knows, it takes more than winning a title to become a great champion. The Hardcore, European, and Tag Team Championships were all in his resume, and he even managed to capture the Intercontinental Championship one time back in 2001 by defeating Edge. However, plans were already made for the IC title and WCW€™s United States Championship title to be unified. Test and Edge put their respective titles on the line at Survivor Series and Edge walked away as a unified champion. The US title was quietly retired, and Test was left with nothing but a 13 day IC title run that served as a transitional period to skyrocket Edge.
Test would go on to feud with Scott Steiner over Stacy Keibler, then leave WWE and return as a part of the ECW brand before leaving for good back in 2007. Two years later he would be found dead due to an overdose of oxycodone.
