The current WWE United States Champion has been the recipient of some prestigious positions in his decade long career. He started his career as Samuray del Sol (Samurai of the Son) in various independent promotions in the American midwest, but it wasn't until a stint in Mexico's legendary Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion (AAA) that this luchador started to make big waves.

It was in AAA that Kalisto was introduced as the storyline protégé of the legendary luchador Octagon. Initially identified as Samuray del Sol, the youngster asked the legend to train him in the ways of lucha, and he was soon christened Octagon Jr.

Unfortunately, Kalisto didn't last too long in the role due to his increasingly busy independent schedule. Not only did this angle get him more attention however, it also brought Pentagon Jr. into the wrestling world.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
