Sticking with the John Cena US Championship Open Challenge, one of the finest matches from that entire series was his bout with The Man That Gravity Forgot, Neville. There was still hope for Neville and his future on the main roster at this point. and he picked up visual victories over both Cena and Seth Rollins in his first few months on the main roster. Of course, visual victories don't count for sh*t if your hand isn't raised at the end of the match.

Neville got a fantastic showcase here, Cena at his giving best during the challenge. The Geordie managed to hit the Red Arrow for what surely would have been the 1-2-3 (that move is exceptionally well protected after all), only for that damn Rusev to interfere ahead of his match with Cena at Payback 2015.

18 months later and things couldn't be more different for the former Adrian. He is currently languishing on Raw doing a whole lot of nothing, losing clean to Bo Dallas to further a Dallas/Curtis Axel feud that approximately zero people care about.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
