10 WWE Thoughts Prior To Attending WrestleMania 32

9. I'm Glad To Be Going To EVOLVE/WWN, But I Wish I Could Make Ring Of Honor, Too

A major part of the fun of WrestleMania weekend involves attending shows run by independent leagues who are looking to capitalize on the fact that 100,000 wrestling fans have flocked to the host city. Ring of Honor has been doing it for a decade, but competitor EVOLVE has also gotten in on the action over the past few years.

EVOLVE and parent company WWN are running several shows over the weekend, including EVOLVE 58 on Friday, EVOLVE 59 on Saturday, and the second annual WWN Supershow Saturday Night. The cards - stacked with competitors like Ricochet, Will Ospreay, and Kota Ibushi - are too good to pass up, and will likely outdo a lot of the action at WrestleMania itself.

Unfortunately, Ring of Honor's "Supercard of Honor" shows won't make the cut - the first is being held opposite NXT TakeOver, and the second is running against EVOLVE 59. As much as I love ROH (I honestly believe it to be the best promotion in the U.S.), the company's announced cards couldn't compete with NXT or EVOLVE. I'm sure they'll still be great shows, though, and I wish it were possible to attend ROH, as well.
