Take just one look at any Dolph Ziggler/Drew McIntyre match or segment and you'll see who the real star is.

WWE push the Scot front and centre, even when he isn't wrestling. At SummerSlam, en route to the ring for his Intercontinental Title defence, Ziggler was made to walk out to his sidekick's entrance music. It's the same when they work tag bouts, and the frame is always dominated by Drew as they pose on the apron and turnbuckle before the bell. None of this is a coincidence, and when they go their separate ways, McIntyre's getting the monster push.

WrestleMania would make for a fine place to host their eventual blow-off match. Involving the Intercontinental Title makes sense too, as Drew (a former IC champ himself) winning a strap much of his partner's 2018 has been built around could be used to spark jealously in Ziggler, leading to a heel turn.

The Diesel/Shawn Michael's comparisons are tedious, but McIntyre and Ziggler were only ever put together to be torn apart, launching the Scot towards the kind of push that eluded him during his first spell with the company. Win or lose, he'd shine against Dolph at 'Mania.
