10 WWE WrestleMania 39 Card Predictions After Royal Rumble 2023
1. Roman Reigns Vs. Cody Rhodes
Naturally, Cody Rhodes is getting his shot too.
It's been predicted already, but WWE splitting Roman's World Titles into two distinctly-different matches sounds right. He can defend the Universal strap vs. Sami on night one, then try to stand in the way of Cody's destiny on night two. That makes perfect sense given what happened at the Rumble.
Rhodes bagging the WWE Title and becoming head boy on Raw (whilst Roman either continues on as Universal Champ for now or drops that belt to Sami Zayn as well) is all-but-guaranteed to happen. Creative strapped the proverbial rocket to Cody at Royal Rumble, and it's plain for all to see that they believe in his ability to hold the biggest prizes in 2023.
That WWE Title is the one Rhodes would logically target due to Dusty unofficially holding the thing aloft but never quite etching his name on the belt's lineage. It's a ready-made story, and one Triple H won't miss out on finishing.
