10 WWE Wrestlers Who Desperately Need To Be Repackaged In 2021

5. Nikki Cross

Who wants to play with Nikki? Well, no one for the last little while.

Nikki Cross was elevated from NXT to the main roster in 2018, along with EC3, Heavy Machinery, Lars Sullivan, and Lacey Evans. Following an excellent debut against then women’s champions Becky Lynch, the first six months of Cross’ tenure on the main roster was merely being booked in matches where they were short a body. During this time, WWE presented Cross as a wild, unpredictable person, who made opponents more uncomfortable than intimidated.

In May of 2019, Cross appeared in a backstage scene on RAW with Alexa Bliss, where she was significantly more composed. This promo kickstarted a partnership with Bliss, which featured two reigns as tag team champions, and recently concluded with Bliss defeating Cross on RAW, and joining forces with The Fiend. WWE should take this opportunity to develop a long term plan for Cross, as she’s an excellent in-ring talent and can cut a solid promo. Since being abandoned by Bliss, Cross has become a sympathetic character and could be booked as the babyface of the division that RAW needs.

WWE have shown little patience with their booking of the women’s division, often shoving wrestlers into the title picture with little to no build.. If creative can slowly build her up by having her defeat heels in singles feuds, while keeping her away from the title picture, Nikki Cross could become a future RAW women’s champion.
