10 WWE Wrestlers Who Got Over Against ALL Odds
7. Becky Lynch
Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch, also known as The Four Horsewomen, are four of the most influential wrestlers of the modern era. But you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who held Lynch at the same level as the other three between 2015 and 2017.
Lynch really struggled to find her footing after getting called up from NXT. She came onto the main roster as part of Stephanie McMahon's Women's Revolution but couldn't escape Charlotte Flair's shadow.
She did well for herself, even becoming the inaugural SmackDown Women's Champion. But things weren't clicking in a way that really got her over with mainstream fans. She was appreciated, but it seemed she was heading nowhere. Then, she became The Man.
The Lass Kicker really came into her own in 2018, throwing caution to the wind with a new heel persona and resonating with fans. She then became so massively popular that she turned face again and achieved many record-breaking accolades.
If you were to tell a wrestling fan in 2015 that Becky Lynch would headline WrestleMania 35, they'd have called you crazy.
