10 WWE Wrestlers Who Went Backwards In 2017
5. Anderson And Gallows
Oh, Good Brothers. In a parallel world, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are the most dominant team in all of WWE, putting on great matches with face and heel teams on their way to a year-long run as RAW Tag Team Champions. The two are getting to show their personality, but retaining the ass-kicking aura they have along the way.
In reality, the Good Brothers spent 2017 picking up a number of inconsequential losses and making zero progress. The return of The Hardy Boyz at WrestleMania 33 ended their run on top, and the former IWGP Tag Team Champions soon became an afterthought in the division.
They sank so low that it was Anderson and Gallows who donned the pumpkins in WWE’s annual Halloween-inspired comedy street fight. Heath Slater and Rhyno defeated Chad2Badd and Tex Ferguson in a match that led many to believe that Anderson and Gallows were on their way out of the company. That’s how bad it was.
What does 2018 hold for the former RAW Tag Team Champions? Anything must be better than the wretched year they have just experienced.
