Whatever way you slice it, Karrion Kross has main event megastar written all over him.

Few stars have hit the ground running on the black and gold brand quite like the 'Bringer of Doomsday' has during his brief time on Wednesday nights. After making a name for himself in Impact Wrestling and AAA, the athletic powerhouse blitzed his way through NXT's roster with ease, alongside his real-life partner Scarlett Bordeaux.

That undefeated run would eventually lead to an NXT Championship victory over Keith Lee at TakeOver XXX, just four months on from his debut appearance. Sure, injury would derail his stunning run, but since returning in December, Kross has impressively picked straight up where he left off. He's now set to clash with Finn Balor for the gold once again at TakeOver: Stand and Deliver.

Looking back at his WWE career so far, it wouldn't come as that much of a surprise to see Kross recapture the gold in a few weeks time, obliterate the NXT field for much of 2021, and then vacate the title for a second time in favour of bullying the top stars of Raw and SmackDown instead.

In short, Doomsday will likely arrive in 2021. Tick tock...
