The rivalry between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens bled over into the main roster in 2016, providing fans of Raw and SmackDown with a taste of the extraordinary feud that played out in both Ring of Honor and NXT, captivating audiences with its "good friends, better enemies" premise.

Just prior to WrestleMania 32, Zayn finally got his call up to the main roster and wasted little time unleashing hell on the man he once considered his closest friend. He ruined Owens' attempt to retain the Intercontinental Championship at the event, courtesy of a wicked suplex onto a ladder.

From there, the two continued their epic rivalry, delivering a spectacular singles match at Payback and serving as one-half of an outstanding Fatal 4-Way match at Extreme Rules.

In every instance, they were responsible for each other's downfall. That trend continued at Money in the Bank and into the next night, where one last battle between the two was booked for Battleground.

Of every element on this list, the feud between Zayn and Owens appears to be the one thing destined to conclude within the next month, the WWE Draft ensuring they will go their separate ways for the second-half of 2016.

Still, their intense personal rivalry has made for some explosive and quality television.
