11 Head-Scratchingly Long WWE Royal Rumble Performances
11. Bo Dallas - 21:42 (2013)
Of all of the people featured on this list, Bo Dallas is the only member of the active roster and could therefore raise his profile over the course of the next few years. At present, it seems unlikely, however, given that the winning streak that followed his re-debut last year was unceremoniously ended by R-Truth of all people. His original debut took place during the 2013 Rumble match, where the decision was made to include a participant from the company's developmental system (NXT). This is a decision that was replicated in 2014, when Alexander Rusev was included (before his forename was dropped) and may well continue this year as fans speculate as to whether the likes of Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn may finally be elevated to the main roster in this manner. In said match, Dallas entered at #16 and was simply a face in the crowd for the next twenty minutes, doing nothing of note despite the occasional mentions of his longevity by the commentary team. In a shock, however, he then managed to eliminate Intercontinental champion Wade Barrett from the match. On observation, this appeared to be the catalyst for a feud between the two, particularly as they were booked in a singles match on the following night's Raw, where Dallas emerged victorious. Immediately after this, however, the rivalry was dropped and Dallas returned to NXT, remaining there (and developing his face-as-a-heel character) over the course of the next fifteen months and making his long Rumble debut pointless in the grand scheme of things.
