Madusa Miceli was a talented worker who, as Alundra Blayze, became the centerpiece of the WWE's women's division in the mid-90s. Soon after the Monday Night Wars began, she won her third Women's Championship, but with WWE in dire straits financially, the decision was made to shutter the division. Despite being champion, Blayze was fired. For all she accomplished, what happened next would be the defining moment of Madusa's career. Madusa was hired by WCW Executive Vice President Eric Bischoff, and as the WWE Women's Title belt was still in her possession, she infamously dropped it in a garbage can on Monday Nitro. To many, this was considered the true opening salvo of the Monday Night Wars, a sign that WCW was not playing nice, and WWE didn't need abide by any rules, either. Madusa continued to compete in WCW -- even capturing the Cruiserweight Championship -- but the title incident was always the talking point of her time there. After WCW folded, she left the sport entirely, finally returning in 2015 as an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame and healing old wounds.
