The knockouts division in 2020 has been fantastic. That they've been able to stand out this year against the X division and the tag team division, which has been at an all-time high, proves the company have the single greatest women's division in the world right now.

There have been so, so many great names involved with the division this year, all with varying levels of story arcs.

Since debuting in the summer, Deonna Purrazzo has become a two-time Knockouts Champion, became the first Iron Woman, and won both the Wrestler and Knockout of the Year awards. That alone is enough to prove how great 'The Virtuosa' is, but her matches against Jordynne Grace and Su Yung have further established her as the best wrestler on the Impact roster right now.

Jordynne Grace finally lifting the Knockouts Championship this year was a title switch worth waiting for. 'Thicc Mama Pump' being the name to end Taya Valkyrie's history-making title reign gave off the impression that she's someone you need to be watching, as she again proved by being the first female to challenge for the X Division Championship. Now that she has a chance to become Knockouts Tag Team Champion with the iconic Jazz at Hard To Kill, Grace's stock continues to rise.

Speaking of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships, the knockouts doubles division is on fire right now. Numerous teams were forming throughout the spring and into summer, which meant when the announcement came at Bound For Glory of the titles coming back, it left us feeling grateful for Impact management's change of heart. Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz have been a sensational double act, gelling together perfectly well. As one of the two teams in the finals at the 16 January pay-per-view, they have to be the first champions of the new era.

Havok, Nevaeh, Rosemary, and Kimber Lee have all had stellar years, while Su Yung/Susie, Tenille Dashwood, and Alisha Edwards have also contributed something. Please, though, no more Tenille vs. Alisha matches.
