11 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling No Surrender 2021

10. From The Heart

Coming into No Surrender, there has been no shortage in the emotion shown by Tommy Dreamer. The challenger for the World Championship has been on fire ahead of one of the biggest nights in his Impact career, but it's never been more on show than during his backstage interview with Gia Miller.

'The Innovator of Violence' mentioned how his deceased father took him to his very first professional wrestling show when he was ten years old. Fast forward to when he was seventeen years old, and Dreamer was taking his girlfriend to a show featuring Demolition vs. The Twin Towers. Skip ahead to Tommy being a wrestler at himself, being caned by The Sandman when he was twenty two. For what it's worth, Gia Miller herself is currently that same age.

Dreamer has always been a guy you can count on whenever you want an emotional story to invest in. He's built his whole career with that as a major aspect of it. For the first time in years, we're forgetting that Tommy's body isn't capable of producing an incredible pro wrestling match anymore.
