12 Current WWE Stars Who Could Be Legends Reborn

1. Seth Rollins €“ Shawn Michaels

Rollins has seen his share of comparisons in his brief WWE career. He€™s been labelled the new Jeff Hardy for his high risk manoeuvres; the new Chris Jericho thanks to his style and personality and over the past year he€™s become the second coming of Shawn Michaels. That€™s a lofty statement and one not to be taken lightly. After all, Michaels is widely considered to be the greatest in-ring performer of all-time. A who€™s-who of the biggest names in the business have had their best match with €œThe Heartbreak Kid.€ He elevated every single person he stepped in the ring with, and even struggling with personal demons, when he stepped between the ropes he was always the showstopper. The new WWE world champion is poised to take that mantle as the top performer in the industry, as he€™s really hitting his stride and finding himself as a character that can match the intensity of his ring work. He makes every opponent he€™s matched up with look great, and we€™re all salivating at the prospect of a one-on-one bout between he and the man he dethroned, Brock Lesnar. He€™ll probably be similar to HBK in another sense. Neither man was ever truly viewed by the fans as the number one star in the promotion, as Shawn€™s reigns as champ did disappointing numbers. In much the same way, Rollins may not light business on fire, but he€™s not going to drop the ball either. And he€™s going to be the guy that all the other wrestlers want to work and have amazing matches with. It€™s heavy praise, but when it€™s all said and done, don€™t be surprised if Seth Rollins has a career trajectory and catalog to rival that of Shawn Michaels.
