Moses and Chance are working their late night shift like usual, trying to stay awake. After Moses slips off into dreamland for a moment and accidentally headbutts the car horn the two cops notice a man engaged in suspicious behavior nearby.
Chance wants to approach the man who appears to be breaking into a house but Moses is hesitant because of the man's 'less than European' skin tone. Considering recent real life racial controversies in cities like Ferguson, Missouri and Charleston, South Carolina this is a surprisingly topical moment in the show.
The two would hilariously discuss whether or not the man was actually engaging in criminal activity or not as Moses would speculate that he was probably just a successful record producer. When a sound that resembled gunshots was finally heard the duo would utter these lines as they exited their vehicle to move towards the man...
