12 Great Wrestling Matches You'll Never Watch Again (And Why)
3. Kaitlyn vs. AJ Lee (WWE Payback 2013)
Today, there's a lot of talk about WWE taking women's wrestling more seriously than ever before. The so-called 'female revolution' involves the likes of Paige, Charlotte, The Bella Twins and - recently - Natalya. Notable absentees amongst those names include the Divas who arguably changed perception of the female division in WWE just a few short years ago. Some may be surprised to learn that Kaitlyn and AJ Lee were responsible. Once good friends on television, Lee and Kaitlyn were subjected to the tired, predictable 'girls falling out with one another' storyline. Inevitably, AJ Lee became quite the bitch, leading to a feud opposite her one-time pal, Kaitlyn. There weren't exactly high hopes for matches between the pair, but they exceeded expectations. At Payback 2013, both women had an excellent match. Wrestling television moves quickly in the modern era, so the bout isn't really remembered too well. There are so many WWE Pay-Per-View events too, so it's unlikely many fans have elected to go back and watch Payback 2013 at random. Therefore, there's a really good chance Kaitlyn vs. AJ Lee won't be seen again.
