12 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (May 28)

5. Mandy & Sonya Are D*ckheads

The Sonya Deville/Mandy Rose pairing is a great act. Neither is the finished article, but they have good chemistry together and offer something unique in that they're a genuine heel friendship that doesn't exist solely to split up and feud. That looked like the direction WWE were heading in a few months ago. Now, though, they're back on the same page, watching each other's backs and riling up every female babyface around, with last night's contributions coming off particularly well.

Rose is on the cover of the latest edition of Muscle & Fitness Hers magazine, so naturally, her and Sonya were being bell-ends about it. They spent time passing it around backstage, handing it over to a couple of goober staff members, The IIconics, and Ember Moon, who was reading Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde in what felt like a piece of foreshadowing. The duo eventually hit the ring, where the magazine-based braggadocio continued.

These two are great fun together. May they never split up.
