Shane McMahon rightly takes a lot of criticism for being pushed as a serious threat to several established superstars despite being a 50-something executive who has never been much more than a glorified stuntman in the ring.

Whenever WrestleMania season rolls around, you can bank on Shane-O-Mac finding his way into some feud that culminates in a match at the big PPV. WM 37 was no exception, as Shane began calling Braun Strowman stupid. Yes, this was really a thing that happened. We almost forgot and thought it was a fever dream, but there’s video of it.

Braun looked like a moron in this rivalry, which included a WWE staple of photoshopped pictures on the tron, including a “report card” for young Braun. In the end, Strowman defeated Shane at Mania in a steel cage match, but it really marked the end of Braun’s run as a threat in WWE. He’d be gone a few months later.

But hey, at least Shane got his WrestleMania moment!
