13 Ups & 1 Down From Impact Wrestling (Jun 2)

7. One Hurdle Away

With their victory over TJP and Fallah Bahh to claim the number one contendership, Dez and Wentz of The Rascalz are now just one win away from ending The North's record-breaking reign as World Tag Team Champions. Not only did they come out on top in the bout, but they did it in grand fashion.

Aside from Bahh, you can expect nothing but sheer athleticism from the other three competitors in the match, which is exactly what we got. Dez, Wentz, and TJP were flipping all over the ring, making for some amazing visuals. That's what made the addition of Fallah that bit better, however, as one minute The Rascalz were flying all over the place, and the next they were being flattened into the canvas by the monstrous Bahh. They were the perennial odd couple at first, but TJP and Bahh have really come together well as a pairing due to their vastly different styles.

Wentz would push Dez back into a bridge as a counter to TJP's kneebar, ending the outstanding match in extraordinary fashion. Handshakes and hugs filled the ring after the bell, as they should have. Dez and Wentz can now look ahead to their match opposite Ethan Page and Josh Alexander, presumably at Slammiversary on 18 July.
