15 Best Chants From The Post-WrestleMania 33 Raw
The Orlando crowd wanted to see a lot of people deleted.
The Monday Night Raw that takes place the evening after WrestleMania has become a must-see event, nearly as anticipated as 'Mania itself. Most of the crowd that attends 'Mania travel in from all over the world - each of the 50 states and 62 countries according to WWE - and a good number of them stick around for the following night€'s show. As a result, Raw consists of an audience that is primarily hardcore wrestling fans with a smattering of casuals as opposed to the usual inverse.
WWE has been known to cater the show to the smart fans and use the night as a lunching pad for debuts, returns, and the kick-off of new angles and storylines. One of the its hallmarks has become the raucous crowd, which rarely tows the line.
This year's show was no different, with a crowd that was absolutely riotous right out of the gate, giving us one of the most unintentionally memorable promos in WWE history based on crowd response alone. As the night wore on, the chants rained down; some vulgar, some creative, but all of them passionate.
Which were the best to emanate from the Amway Centre?
15. "Undertaker"
As the show kicked off, the commentary team sat silent as the 15,000 plus in attendance showed their appreciation toward 'The Deadman' with a lengthy "Undertaker" chant lasting several minutes. It was a great way to open the show, giving respect to a man who has dedicated three decades of his life to the business.
As the chants persisted, they were interspersed with the dueling refrains of "Roman sucks", making the WWE Universe's feelings toward 'The Big Dog' quite clear.
